One week in...

... and still going!  I've kept up with using the Wii EA Sports Active, went to Tortoise and Hare today to look at and price running shoes, but still need to keep working on eating better.  Baby steps...

One of the best resources that I've found, and been using is Sparkpeople.  It's a FREE website with support groups, articles, exercise demos, and a HUGE recipe section with nutritional breakdowns.  You can log your foods eaten (if you want), exercise minutes, glasses of water drank, and you earn points and get stars (ok, so maybe it's a little gradeschoolish, but it does motivate!).  I'm on there as knitstuff, so if you decide to join, put me down as referring you and I get points towards my next star!
