Things I've Learned From Being Broke ...

  • No Knead Bread (no link, just Google and you get tons of recipes) is quick, easy and cheap. And very tasty when you mess around with adding herbs and spices.
  • Glass jars are your friend. Anything from pasta jars to small jelly jars can have the labels soaked off, washed, and reused umpteen times over. Plus, you're recycling!
  • Save A Lot. I know I've talked about them before, but even though things are looking up for us, I'm still going to keep shopping there.  Where else can you find diced tomatoes at 57 cents a can unless their on sale?
  • That I'm thankful that I have a family that doesn't care that I'm in my 40's and still giving them handmade presents.
  • Thom's Veggie soup is the greatest!  Just tomatoes, carrots, onions, celery and whatever else he puts into it rocks!
  • Using kitchen towels and dishrags are better than paper towels, plus you can make your own if so inclined.
